Are you (your website) on Google? Are you sure?

Here’s a quick and easy way to find out.

Type site, followed by a semicolon and your website URL in your browser search bar:

For example site:wikipedia.org

If your return results are a list of information about your site pages, it means that Google has indexed your site.

If Google does not index your site, the returns will be a message, “No information is available for this page.”

Solution: sign up for Google Search Console (free) and follow the instruction in how to index your site. Google Search Console will track your site, find technical problems, show you keywords, ranking, etc.

Bonus: Also, sign up for Google Analytics (free). It’s one of the best ways to keep track of your website traffic, which pages are pulling in the best leads, paid views, time on site, and much more.

If your site is running using WordPress, consider installing the Yoast SEO plugin or Rank Math (free for essential use).
